The Broncos won the night they stopped Rice from sliding. Grade: D+.

The Broncos lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

That Rice pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Van Pran has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
