The tape said wait; the Browns did not. Steven Parker went at the 215th pick, a good 117 picks before the board was ready.

The Carter value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
