The Browns cashed the board's mistake on Bassa: A-.

Somebody in the Round 6 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Browns sat still while Jeffrey Bassa, the No. 131 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

McLaughlin has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

The Carter pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with cornerback still on the board. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In the end it comes back to Mike Green, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
