The Browns finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Browns shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They are betting Jones proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.

In pick No. 1 they get their quarterback of the future at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
