Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Browns, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

Everything downstream of Fernando Mendoza depends on Fernando Mendoza, and the building knows it. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Reaching for Siereveld left real value on the table behind him. The Bell value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
