Nobody had Barryn Sorrell this high, and it is not close. The Browns reached 149 spots to get him at the Round 5 slot.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Helm at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The veteran additions, Jonathan Taylor chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
