Somebody took the Browns to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

J.J. McCarthy gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They banked enough surplus on Rosengarten to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
