Williams should have been long gone. The Browns pounced, and earned a D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Browns shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That Williams pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
