The Browns let Howard fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Browns watched Will Howard slide 41 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

On the needs board they went 4 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
