Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Panthers spent the Round 7 slot on Kendall Milton, a name most had 156 spots down the list. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. However the rest shakes out, Burton at that price is a win they earned. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Adding Hjalte Froholdt by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
