Winston Jr. should have been long gone. The Buccaneers pounced, and earned a A. You build a draft on nights like this. Kevin Winston Jr. had no business being available in pick No. 158, and the Buccaneers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The Paul Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end and edge rusher.
They will need Howard to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
