The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Buccaneers reached some 36 spots for Jaden Shirden, and value like that does not grow back. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
