The Buccaneers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+. The Buccaneers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 226 on Richard Jibunor a full 95 spots early.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.
They banked enough surplus on Nelson to cover a lot of smaller sins. The Buccaneers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
