Landing Starks that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
