The Buccaneers put a flag in the ground for Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, 106 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

However the rest shakes out, Taylor at that price is a win they earned. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. With running back unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
