A costly weekend of dealing drags the Buccaneers to a C. The Buccaneers went off the board in a big way for Javon Foster, 36 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.
Pearsall at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. It is not that Solomon is a bad player; it is that the Buccaneers had louder needs to answer first.
They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
