The Buccaneers bled value on every deal, hence the D.

The Buccaneers did not so much draft Donovan Smith as overpay for him, 40 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
