The Sheppard pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.

Whatever Shedeur Sanders becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
