Warren should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Tyler Warren at Round 4, Pick 14 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Every board in the league had Brown lower, and that gap is the story. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
