After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

Every board in the league had Frazier lower, and that gap is the story. They banked enough surplus on Edwards to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
