The board owed the Seahawks one, and it paid up: Pat Bryant, the No. 147 name on the board, sitting there at pick 212 like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They will need Burch to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
