The Seahawks went off the board in a big way for Brady Cook, 86 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

That Mondon Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.
