The Cardinals drew a line under the quarterback search with Daniels: D.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Cardinals did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. Landing Jones that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting Jackson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
