The Cardinals did not so much draft Khristian Boyd as overpay for him, 74 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The Wilson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The Sainristil pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback and running back.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
