The Cardinals won the night they stopped Logan Jr. from sliding. Grade: B.

The board owed the Cardinals one, and it paid up: Kenny Logan Jr., the No. 203 name on the board, sitting there at the 227th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They are betting Eichenberg proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Abrams-Draine pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, tight end and other spots still on the board. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
