The Cardinals cashed the board's mistake on Bassa: B-.

The Cardinals did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jeffrey Bassa fell into the Round 6 slot. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They will need Dennis-Sutton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
