Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Patriots.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Patriots reached some 56 spots for Drew Kendall, and value like that does not grow back.

That is an interior defensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
