Best value of the weekend goes to the Browns for Fitzgerald: D+.

When the story of this class is written, it opens with Tommy Mellott at pick 256, a reach of 93 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.

The Fitzgerald steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
