The Chiefs got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

The tape said wait; the Chiefs did not. Miles Frazier went at pick 132, a good 107 picks before the board was ready. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

It is not that Watts is a bad player; it is that the Chiefs had louder needs to answer first. Getting Emmanwori where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
