The Zak Zinter pick is the one that will follow the Lions into the fall. They took him 22 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

The Simpson steal is the beam this whole class leans on. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
