The Texans did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Kris Jenkins, 23 picks early at pick 23. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Leveston at that price is a win they earned.

Job largely done: running back settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
