The Bears let Sainristil fall and pounced. Final grade: A-.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Getting Sainristil where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The cost of the Travis reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
