The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The Bears indulged a want in Smith while a need in interior defensive lineman and quarterback stayed open. That Gray pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
