Call it larceny. Ajani Cornelius sat on the board until No. 224, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A to show for it.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Jackson pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots.

In the end it comes back to Jared Verse, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
