Nobody else had Luke Kandra anywhere near the Round 3 slot. The Bengals did, by 37 spots, and that gap is the whole story. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Pearce Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
