The Browns robbed the room for Singleton. Final grade: B-.

Somebody in slot 225 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Browns sat still while Nicholas Singleton, the No. 100 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. It is not that Lawson is a bad player; it is that the Browns had louder needs to answer first. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
