A franchise passer in Williams headlines a B+ weekend for the Bears.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Getting Jackson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The Bears indulged a want in Solomon while a need in interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots stayed open. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
