For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Colts walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.

They will need Zinter to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They banked enough surplus on Legette to cover a lot of smaller sins.

They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
