When a board-topper like Christian Haynes slides to pick 117, you do not overthink it, and the Colts did not. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
