Draft Grade — Commanders
Overall B
ValueA NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Commanders robbed the room for Harris. Final grade: B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Tre Harris tumbling to the Commanders in pick No. 238 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The cost of the Carter reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.

Pick Analysis
Pick29 Rnd1 Ashton Jeanty
In the 29th overall pick they get a workhorse for the backfield, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick61 Rnd2 Barrett Carter
Value said wait; Barrett Carter in the Round 2 slot says they were not listening. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick79 Rnd3 Wyatt Milum
They robbed the room for Wyatt Milum here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick207 Rnd6 Jaxson Dart
Jaxson Dart in Round 6, Pick 29 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick238 Rnd7 Tre Harris
Somehow Tre Harris was still sitting there in slot 238, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick250 Rnd7 Jake Majors
A offensive lineman of that caliber at No. 250 is the definition of value, full stop. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
