There is conviction, and then there is this. The Commanders took Khari Coleman a full 77 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

However the rest shakes out, Coleman at that price is a win they earned.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
