The steal of the weekend belongs to the Commanders and Jackson: B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Ja'Quinden Jackson at Round 7, Pick 29 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Burke has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
