The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Carson Schwesinger, the No. 83 name on the board, in No. 133. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. It is not that Winston Jr. is a bad player; it is that the Commanders had louder needs to answer first.

The Ivey pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
