Draft Grade — Cardinals
Overall

The Cardinals did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Joe Alt
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Joe Alt. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick27
Rnd1
Brian Thomas Jr.
In pick No. 27 they get a matchup problem out wide. Exactly the need they had to hit.
