The Bengals robbed the room for Owens. Final grade: D-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bengals shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Put together, it is a D-.

Reaching for Johnson left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Owens pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
