When a board-topper like Cody Schrader slides to the 212th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Cowboys did not.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
