Moore should have been long gone. The Cowboys pounced, and earned a C-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Malachi Moore slide 36 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Cowboys clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
