The rest of the league had time to spare on Hayden Conner; the Cowboys did not wait, grabbing him 94 spots ahead at pick No. 171. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

They banked enough surplus on Taylor to cover a lot of smaller sins. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
