A masterclass at the trade table lands the Buccaneers a B.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Buccaneers did exactly that with Jaylan Ford in the Round 4 slot.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will answer for taking linebacker early while interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots went begging. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

On value alone, Chestnut makes the weekend a net positive.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
