The rest of the league had time to spare on Jaydon Blue; the Steelers did not wait, grabbing him 65 spots ahead at the 247th pick. No fireworks, but a solid B.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Jordan Addison gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
